Musselroe Bay Resort
Far from the modern world and surrounded by endless natural beauty, Musselroe is positioned in a secluded part of Tasmania. Bordered by an awe-inspiring coastline, expansive national parks and breathtaking conservation areas, this is where the native Australian landscape can be experienced both up close and in the best of comfort.
Located with such a wide and open landscape, Musselroe Bay is a great place for wind farm development, of which its neighbor is the Musselroe Wind Farm, the third farm built in the state and by far the largest of the three Woolnorth Renewables Wind Farms. Over a 12-month period, Musselroe produces approximately 5 percent of Tasmania’s electrical energy needs.
Planned and developed by DCF Property, the total area of Musselroe House will soon be the home of Australia’s most exclusive golf and healthcare resort with leisure activities for everyone. Permitted for a leisure resort development with villas, hotel rooms, a golf course and all-around amenities, the future development leaves an area of 115 hectares as an offset for biodiversity conservation of the habitat of the NHM and other threatened flora and fauna values associated with the habitat.
